ElenaI had this doll for sale but decided to make clothes for her Click on the image to enlarge
Presenting: A highest quality reproduction doll, entirely made by Emily Hart, including all porcelain parts & cloth body.
OFFERED AT MY COST TO MAKE HER
Many of you may have heard me say over the years that I have at least 200 dolls partly made all over my Studio, many carefully wrapped and stored away.
I have these good intentions to finish them, but then I start something new and drawer after drawer is filled with partly made dolls… At age 72, I realize I am unable to finish everything in this lifetime, so I am now offering some dolls READY TO DRESS, and others will be only partly made, so that I can concentrate on finishing up the Antique Reproduction dolls with costumes.
The head was made from the “Elena” mold originally from The Ultimate Collection, but the shoulderplate, arms and legs are from Jane Zidjunas’ “Kallie” & “Elise” body molds.
She is poured in Seeley’s “Oriental Flesh” porcelain with overall wash in Oriental color China paints…. wonderful china painting in many layers with firings in between. She was painted years ago and her body parts stored away, so now I made her body & put her together.
Her wig is a beautiful side coiled braids Acrylic wig. I made her originally to be an “Oriental Princess”, but of course, never finished her.
She has beautiful solid glass French Paperweight eyes in Brown color and both painted and glued on eyelashes.
Her body is strong 100% cotton muslin, and arms have wire armature inside so they can be slightly bent at the elbows. Her hips and knees are fully articulated.
She wears earrings of Antique glass beads.
She stands 23 inches. |
