French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll UNDRESSED originally made by the firm of Bru circa 1885

Marked Bru jne, this is a small size, known as Milette, standing 11 inches.

This particular Bru is from the Seeley mold “Shandele IV”

Poured in "Azure White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer.

Painted in July of 2022

The skin tone is very lovely and pale, eye shadow and deep rosy cheek color.

She wears earrings and matching necklace with Genuine Swarovski crystals and Swarovski crème pearls.

This doll UNDRESSED features the finest Authentic Reproduction hand blown glass eyes made by Hand Glass Craft of England, in “Extra Light Blue” color.

Please note the amazing threading and incredible color of these eyes, all photos taken in natural daylight.

This doll features finest Australian Mohair wig with high luster in Pale golden blonde color with center part and long soft curls.

All wigs can be cut and re-styled as you may wish to do yourself.

Please note: I do not glue wigs on any of my dolls or heads unless requested as it is much easier to remove the wig so it won’t be messed up while fitting a costume or dressing a doll.

This head is on a fine composition 8.5 inch French Bebe body with Bru lower arms, made by Jim Vickerman and hand-painted.

The doll comes without a stand and measures 11 inches tall.

If she does not sell undressed, I will make her into a finished doll when I have time to sew again…. Maybe next year.
