Steiner A9 Bebe

This is known as a Figure A Steiner, originally made by Jules Nicolas Steiner from the 1880's into the 1900's, marked A9

Beautifully painted, I have been keeping this head aside to make into a finished doll, however, now I find I just have too many new projects going, so I am listing as a “Head only” option for you.

Poured in "Lady White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer.

The skin tone is very lovely and ultra pale and with eye shadow and rosy cheeks.

Very finest solid glass French Paperweight eyes in light blue color with fantastic threading, and huge pupils these are truly the ultimate in reproduction French eyes by Hand Glass Craft of England.

She has earrings of genuine Turquoise semi-precious stones, just as most of the Antique Steiner dolls had.

She features a very fine mohair wig in pale blonde with center part, bangs, and soft curls.
