French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll, known as a “Figure A” or “A-series” Steiner, originally made by Jules Nicolas Steiner from the 1880's into the 1900's.

EXTRA FINE PAINTING done in 2012 Absolutely FLAWLESS

Poured in "Magnolia white" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer

The skin tone is very lovely and ultra pale and with eye shadow and rosy cheeks

Eyes are the ultimate in quality French solid glass paperweight by Hand Glass Craft of England in blue/grey color

She wears earrings and matching necklace made with genuine Swarovski crystals and metallic seed beads.

Her wig is finest mohair in light Ash Blonde color, featuring center part, bangs and soft curls.

She is on an Authentic Reproduction composition body made by Jim Vickerman.... He is just the very finest doll body maker... a true artist.

This ONE OF A KIND outfit is made with extremely hard to find Faille fabric and wonderful and unusual Antique laces. The green rayon trim is also Antique and very rare. You will see an interesting detail to the back of this dress that sets it apart. The matching bonnet features lace overlay on both front brim and back with Antique netting ruffle and wonderful taffeta bow on the front of the brim. Lovely handmade flowers embellish this costume by Mary Lambeth.

Under garments of pure cotton include bloomers and half slip, hand knitted silk/rayon socks and French style shoes with rosettes are made to match the outfit.

This doll stands 17.5 inches and 20 inches with the bonnet included.
