Antique Reproduction doll head marked SFBJ 252

This little toddler child doll is commonly known as Paris Pouty and was originally made by the Societe Fancaise De Fabrication de Bebes et Jouets (S. F. B. J.) made in Paris France in the early 1920's.

This sweet little French child here faithfully reproduced by the skilled hands of Emily Hart, known Worldwide for her fine attention to detail in both painting and costuming... Emily has won over 50 International awards, many Best of Show Rosettes, for her porcelain dolls and costumes and holds Canada's Top Award for Antique Reproduction doll making in the Professional Category.

Features are:

This little face has the most adorable expression!

Beautiful ultra pale skin tone with rosy cheeks.

Finest porcelain head poured in White porcelain with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between.

Very fine Australian mohair wig with high lustre in pale blonde with center part and soft curls.

French paperweight hand blown solid glass eyes in Olive brown color

The ears are pierced and she wears earrings of pink Antique beads.

Necklace of genuine Swarovski crystals.

Extra fine Painting done in the year 2000 and has been saved for Emily's own collection, now finally dressed in September of 2012.

Her body is paper mache by Global Dolls.

This lovely silk taffeta costume is embellished with beautiful genuine Antique laces Antique lettuce edge trim around the neck, and the bonnet is embellished with flowers hand made by Mary Lambeth.

A wire-edged ribbon sash has been added featuring an Antique Mother of Pearl buckle in the center front. Two colors of big bows adorn the Bonnet, complimenting the sash.

Under garments are cotton bloomers and half slip, hand knitted silk rayon socks and silk taffeta French style shoes with silk ribbon rosettes complete this outfit.

This doll stands 12.5 inches and 14.5 with bonnet on.
