Presenting..... Outstanding... Authentic Antique Reproduction Crescent Bru Bebe, originally made by Leon Casimir Bru only during the years 1879 to 1884

This doll was made both with painted over teeth and showing the teeth as in this model

Flawless painting done in February of 2012, you won’t find a better Crescent bru than this one!

This doll features

Poured in finest "Lady White" porcelain with many layers of China paint applied meticulously with up to 6 firings in between

Very fine French Paperweight hand blown solid glass eyes in light blue by Hand Glass Craft of England ( they look brighter in the photos than they really are)

She wears earrings and matching necklace of glass beads and gold metallic seed beads.

Wig is extra fine mohair with wonderful luster in Platinum color in short style with allover soft curls. This wig was custom made for and designed by Emily Hart.

The lovely Authentic French Bebe composition body was handmade by Jim Vickerman of Joyce's Compo bodies, and has Bru lower arms in porcelain made by Emily

She wears the most beautiful ONE OF A KIND drop waist style dress with matching bonnet outfit by Mary Lambeth, adorned by her signature handmade silk flowers. The dress is a combination of silk velvet, and striped silk taffeta fabric with exquisite antique laces.

The bonnet features ruched silk velvet fabric, and more Antique laces as well as more handmade silk flowers. Emily has completely re-made this dress adding extra Antique laces to bodice and skirt.

Undergarments in cotton fabric are bloomers and half slip. Hand knitted socks and French style shoes complete this lovely costume.

This doll stands 17.5 inches and 19.5 inches including the bonnet.
