Presenting.....Extremely Rare French Bebe Reproduction porcelain doll, marked 5 H

This extraordinary beauty remained a mystery for many years. But in 1989 The French doll Expert Francoise Theimer unveiled her history. Her creator was Aristiede Marcellin Halopeau. The Halopeau heads were introduced in the year 1882 and manufactured by the Frayon firm of Montreuil. These dolls were only produced until 1889 therefore very few of the Antique dolls can be found today.

This very hard to find size is a Seeley mold reduced size from their famous 5H Halopeau doll…. The Antique doll now belongs to Rosalie Whyel.

This head was poured in finest Lady White porcelain with many layers of China paint applied meticulously with up to 6 firings in between

This ONE OF A KIND outfit is made with pure silk satin fabric and wonderful hard to find Antique laces, taffeta ribbons and amazing ribbon flowers by Mary Lambeth. Vintage trims are a unique feature on this bonnet. Under garments of pure cotton include bloomers and half slip, hand knitted silk/rayon socks and French style shoes with silk rosettes are made to match the outfit.

This doll stands 15 inches and 17.5 inches with the bonnet included.
