One of the most distinctive models of French Antique dolls, this little charmer features a dainty look with fine features and pointy chin, originally made in the late 1800's, this face was unmarked and it is not known who the maker was.
This doll was painted in 2010
Poured in white porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer
She features lovely pale skin tone and eye shadow.
She wears genuine Swarovski crystal earrings
This head features very finest solid glass French paperweight eyes in light blue color by Hand Glass Craft of England
Very fine mohair wig in Antique blonde color with center part, bangs and soft curls.
Extra fine Painting
This fabulous ONE OF A KIND costume is made from the finest pure silk Taffetas in two tones of blue with front closing and hand made genuine Antique crocheted buttons. Fully lined in cotton, this wonderful dress has a fantastic assortment of the finest genuine Antique laces with matching ruched bonnet. Both dress and bonnet are embellishes with the signature handmade silk ribbon flowers of Mary Lambeth.
Undergarments are pure cotton bloomers and half slip, with hand knitted silk/rayon socks and silk taffeta shoes made to match this extraordinary outfit.
This doll stands 17 inches and 20 inches with bonnet on. |
