Presenting: Two-piece Embroidered silk taffeta dress and bonnet with Antique laces made by Emily Hart for 18 inch body… 24 inch doll.

The fabulous ONE OF A KIND costume is made with finest quality embroidered pure silk taffeta with genuine Antique laces and Antique trims. This is a typical Bru style with high waist and Bere style hat that would look equally as beautiful on any Antique doll. The color of the dress with square neck is a Genuine Antique collar. The lovely hat features matching Antique lace to the collar with three genuine Ostrich feathers. (I had only the Antique collar and one of the matching cuffs, so I had to devise a way to make the cuff into a bonnet trim.)

The dress bodice and bonnet are lined in the same silk. The hem is all hand sewn. No raw seams are ever showing on Emily Hart costumes. The two pieces bear Emily’s own labels sew in.

I modeled this dress to fit the B-388 French Bebe body that is 18 inches tall.

I have managed to purchase a large quantity of Genuine Antique laces and so I will be doing a lot more sewing of doll clothing to use up these laces... some are Point de Gauze and Brussels handmade laces... lots to come in the future...
