Emily Hart, Grandmaster of Dollmaking, winner of over 50 International awards, Canada's Top Trophy and many Best of show Rosettes in International Competition in 2018 Celebrating 28 years in Dollmaking.

Presenting:

A “One of a kind” doll, entirely made by Emily Hart, including all porcelain parts, body, and clothing.

Here you have a rare opportunity to get one of my very finest modern dolls. The costume on this doll was an incredible amount of work with an abundance of high quality laces and trims.

This doll was made from the “Elise” mold set of head, shoulderplate, lower arms, lower legs, with cloth body, originally sculpted by Jane Zidjunas.

Her head and shoulderplate were poured in Seeley’s “Lady White” porcelain with wonderful china painting in many layers with firings in between.

Very few modern dolls were made starting with white porcelain… it makes a difference to the depth of the painting to start with white porcelain and apply the skin color over it.

She was painted years ago and her body parts stored away, and more recently I made her cloth body and now altered this costume for her.

She has beautiful Hand Glass Craft solid glass eyes in Brown color and both painted and glued on eyelashes. Rarely do you ever find modern dolls with these very costly French Paperweight eyes.

Her wig is “synthetic mohair” of the highest quality in a deep auburn color that is truly breathtaking with this color of dress.

Her body is strong 100% cotton muslin, and arms have wire armature inside so they can be slightly bent at the elbows. Her hips and knees are fully articulated.

I used Genuine Swarovski glass pearls and Swarovski crystal Rondeles for her earrings and necklace.

The pattern for the dress was drafted up by me, as well, to fit this doll.

I used the very finest pure silk Dupioni fabric in pale aqua green, lilac & ivory stripe for her dress with Ivory silk bloomers trimmed in lace. The high quality rayon guipure laces are ivory in color. A gorgeous trim with Aura borealis sequins adorns the removable cape and the dress. The skirt of the dress has six layers of laces and trims.

I used French seams inside the bloomers and the dress is fully lined with the same fabric inside as out. Inside the dress is Emily’s own woven label.

The back of the dress is closed with ivory color buttons with thread-loop closure.

She has hand knitted socks and pink patent shoes

She stands 23 inches
