Presenting: French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll originally made the firm of Bru circa 1885 and marked Bru jne 13

This head was painted in August of 2022

Poured in Bell’s "Azure White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer

The skin tone is very lovely and pale and with eye shadow

This head features the very finest solid glass French Paperweight eyes in Mauve color by HAND GLASS CRAFT OF ENGLAND the absolute finest eyes available

Her wig is the ultimate in Australian mohair in Honey Blonde color with center part, bangs, and soft curls.

She wears earrings and matching necklace of genuine Swarovski crystals and Swarovski crème pearls.

The 18 inch body is French Bebe reproduction with bru lower arms and made by Jim Vickerman of Joyce's compo bodies.

PLEASE NOTE SOME TINY SCRATCHES FROM THE DOLL STAND ON THE BACK OF THE BODY.

Her one of a kind costume is pure silk with Antique embroidered net overlay and embellished with silk flowers. The Antique lace at the neckline of this dress is very rare as it is colored embroidered tulle lace. The matching wired bonnet is open at the back to show off her fabulous curls. This costume was custom made for Emily by Sue Laurent of Australia.

Undergarments consist of very fine almost sheer cotton batiste fabric bloomers, mock corset, and full petticoat.

Her socks are hand-knitted silk/rayon and shoes are highest quality genuine leather.
