Presenting: Vintage French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll originally made the firm of Bru circa 1885

Marked Bru jne 14, this was made from Jean Nordquist's Titianna mold, very distinctive and lovely face.

This doll was painted in July of 2010 Extra fine painting.

Poured in fine white porcelain with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer.

PLEASE NOTE THIS HEAD HAS A FIRING CRACK JUST AT THE TOP RIM OF THE HEAD UNDER THE WIG THAT IN EMILY’S OPINION DOES NOT DIMINISH THE VALUE OF THIS DOLL.

The skin tone is very lovely and ULTRA pale with eye shadow

Her wig is of finest Australian Mohair in bright auburn color, Extra Long with extensions this is indeed an extraordinary wig

She wears earrings and matching necklace of very fine faceted glass beads, and genuine freshwater pearls.

This head features the very finest Authentic French Paperweight hand blown solid glass eyes in a most incredible maroon brown color with fabulous threading and very large pupils. Unfortunately, brown eyes are very hard to photograph and appear darker in the photos than they are.

The extra fine composition body is made by Seeley’s with porcelain lower arms signed and dated by Emily Hart

She wears an amazing ONE-OF-A-KIND dress with matching bonnet in lovely pink tones.

The bonnet is ruched pure silk taffeta fabric embellishes with amazing Antique laces, big Taffeta moiré bows, and handmade silk ribbon flowers.

The dress itself is made from a vintage sheer crepe fabric in pale pink with blue edging. The cotton lace overlay is so rare and delicate and exquisite in every detail. An amazing wide shawl collar adds a unique feature to this wonderful Mary Lambeth costume. (Sadly, Mary Lambeth is now deceased).

Undergarments are 100 % cotton bloomers and half-slip. Beautiful genuine Antique French lace has been added by Emily to the petticoat.

The socks are hand knitted silk/rayon and French style shoes are made to match the costume in silk taffeta with silk ribbon rosettes.
