Emily Hart, Grandmaster of Dollmaking, winner of over 50 International awards, Canada's Top Trophy, and many Best of show Rosettes in International Competition in 2025 celebrates 35 years in Dollmaking.
Presenting: French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll originally made by Andre Thuillier in the years 1870's-1890 and marked A15T
This head was painted in 2022
Poured in “Azure White” porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer The skin tone is a lovely ultra pale.
She wears elaborate earrings and matching necklace of Genuine Swarovski AB crystals and Swarovski Crème pearls.
This head features the very finest French Paperweight hand blown solid glass eyes by Hand Glass Craft of England in olive color.
Her extra long wig is Antique HUMAN HAIR in natural color of light brown with a hint of red in it.
She is on a fine French Bebe composition body by Seeley’s. Old store stock.
Her costume is made from vintage pure silk fabric and the most exquisite very rare genuine Antique laces. The dark parts of the lace are pure Silver threads that have darkened with age. The ruched bonnet features handmade flowers matching the ones on the dress… a signature of Mary Lambeth costumes.
Sadly, Mary is now deceased and I can no longer get any of her amazing costumes. I added a lace frill to the bonnet just yesterday, and feel it is finally complete.
Mary Lambeth told me the laces on this costume are so rare and valuable that she advised I never sell this one… but now I will be 80 years old this year and feel I must start to sell off my own personal collection. I still have many more dolls to finish.
Her undergarments are pure cotton bloomers and half-petticoat that I added Genuine Antique lace to.
She wears hand knitted silk/rayon socks and her silk and leather French style shoes are made to match her costume.
This doll stands 24 inches and 28 inches including the bonnet brim.
I do not take returns so please write if you have questions. |
