Presenting: French Bebe Antique Reproduction doll HEAD ONLY in Milette size.

This is known as an A-series, or Figure A Steiner originally made in France, by Jules Nicolas Steiner from the 1880's into the 1900's.

This head was made from the Seeley Mold "Kahlie IV" a very precious sweet face!

PLEASE NOTE: I HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS ON MANY MILETTE SIZE HEADS THAT ARE NEARING COMPLETION NOW. PERHAPS 20 NEW SMALL DOLL HEADS WILL BE LISTED. AT PRESENT, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE OF THIS MODEL.

I WILL NOT BE MAKING MORE MILETTE HEADS FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER YEAR AS MY WHOLE NEXT YEAR IS BOOKED UP, INCLUDING MAKING 6 MECHANICAL MUSICAL DOLLS AND 2 WALKING DOLLS, PLUS SOME DOLLS THAT WILL HOLD THEIR OWN DOLL. THESE WILL ALL BE FINISHED DOLLS WITH COSTUMES MADE BY ME.

Painted in July 2016

Poured in "Lady White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer
The skin tone is very lovely and pale and with eye shadow

She wears earrings of genuine Swarovski glass pearls.

This head features very fine solid glass French paperweight eyes in light blue color by Hand Glass Craft of England.

She features a lustrous Australian mohair wig in palest strawberry blonde color with center part, bangs and soft curls.

This head fits an 8.5 inch Milette or Bluette size French child body to be a 10.5 inch finished doll.
