Emily Hart, Grandmaster of Dollmaking presents
Adorable Grumpy and Very Rare, German character child Doll and marked 8548 Germany, originally by the Gebrüder Heubach Company of Germany, in the early 1900’s Authentic Antique Reproduction.
Since 1990 Emily has been dedicated to making the finest in Authentic porcelain Reproduction dolls. It took seven years of study and many courses to earn her the coveted Grandmaster of Dollmaking title from the Doll Artisan Guild of New York. Emily has earned her place as a World Class Doll maker with her many “Best of Show” Rosettes and Canada's Top Trophy in the Professional Category for her French Ethnic Bébé.
He is superbly painted.
- This lovely head has the following features:
-Extra Fine China painting applied in up to 6 layers with firings in between
-He features painted Intaglio eyes and molded and painted hair… this is a dome head.
-As with all authentic reproductions, this head was poured in white porcelain
This little toddler boy is on a composition body by Seeley’s
He is dressed in a cute little pajama unitard… all ready for bed, or for you to dress.
He is a small doll at 11 inches tall.
As I have so many partly made dolls to finish this will be the only one of this model I intend to make as a finished doll to sell…
