Paris Twirp Toddler

Emily Hart, Grandmaster of Dollmaking, is an Artist earning her living by creating and selling her porcelain pieces.

Winner of over 50 International awards, Canada's Top Trophy and many Best of show Rosettes in International Competition, she is now in her 26th year making dolls full time.

Presenting: French toddler doll HEAD ONLY originally made in the early 1920’s by the firm Societe Francaise de Fabrication de Bebes et Jouets ( S.F.B.J.)

Marked S.F.B.J. 247 PARIS, and known by the name of Twirp, she has an open/closed mouth with two molded porcelain teeth. The S.F.B.J. company made two versions of this same doll, this one is the Toddler and I also have the grown up little girl version of her in a larger size.

Very fine painting done in February of 2015, this head has not been offered before.

Poured in "Lady White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer

This head features the very finest solid glass hand blown French Paperweight eyes by Hand Glass Craft of England, in light blue color with fabulous threading.

This head comes with fine Australian mohair wig in Honey blonde color with center part, wispy bangs and soft curls, custom made for Emily Hart dolls.

She wears earrings of Genuine Swarovski crystals.

The Antique doll was mostly found on a “toddler” style body with a bit of a “tummy”. In this case she would take a 13 inch body…
