Presenting: French Bébé Antique Reproduction doll originally made the firm of Bru circa 1885 and marked Bru jne 11
This head was completed in 2018
Poured in "Lady White" porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer The skin tone is very lovely and pale and with eye shadow
This head features the very finest solid glass French Paperweight eyes in extra light blue color by HAND GLASS CRAFT OF ENGLAND the absolute finest eyes available
Her wig is fine mohair in natural platinum color with center part and soft curls.
She wears deluxe earrings of genuine Swarovski crystals in teardrop shape with Swarovski glass pearls and matching necklace. She also wears a Swarovski crystal bracelet.
The body is French Bebe reproduction with bru lower arms. (B-388 body)
Fabulous ONE OF A KIND outfit is made from pure silk taffeta in dusty peach color with genuine Antique heavy laces in a bold pattern. Wine colored silk velvet contrasts effectively with the peach color accenting the V-style front bodice and bow at the back of the dress. Matching silk velvet bonnet is embellished lavishly with a full lace brim, Satin bows and an intricate handmade metallic trim with little gold bells throughout that is also used on the bodice front. This is a Mary Lambeth costume completely re-invented by Emily Hart.
Under garments are cotton bloomers and half slip trimmed with lace, & with hand knitted silk/rayon socks and darling French style shoes in matching fabric to the dress.
This doll stands 23.5 inches tall and 27 inches including bonnet
