K*R 126

U.S. $1600.00 Wonderful baby doll with sleep eyes mechanism made by Emily (the only doll I ever made with sleep eyes) and separate porcelain tongue. She is also the only doll I made with this mold as I made he in a Seminar, one of the very first dolls I ever made 1991.

Emily Hart, Grandmaster of Dollmaking in 2025 celebrates 34 years in dollmaking.

Presenting:

German reproduction baby doll marked K*R 126 and named “Wolfie” in the Seeley mold catalogue, originally made by the Firm of Simon & Halbig for Kämmer and Reinhardt, introduced in 1910.

This head was engraved in 1991 as it was one of the first dolls I ever made, and the only one with sleep eyes. (quite a challenging mechanism to build inside the doll’s head).

Poured in Seeley’s Lady White porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer. The skin tone is medium with very rosy cheeks as is characteristic of the German dolls.

This doll features:

Very Fine painting and was not made for sale, but for Emily's personal collection. In fact she was undressed for over 32 years until June of 2025 when I finally dressed her in this Antique baby dress.

This doll features sleep eyes made by Emily as well as a separate porcelain tongue.

The German style composition body is by Seeley’s.

Finest human hair wig is light Auburn in color and matches well with her eyebrow tone.

The doll wears a genuine Antique pure cotton baby dress in newborn size that includes a full petticoat with lace that shows below the dress. The bodice is eyelet. Both the dress and petticoat have elaborate tucking and beautiful laces. Mother of pearl buttons.

This doll is 18 inches tall and 31 inches from top of head to bottom hem.
