Presenting: German reproduction child doll marked K*R 114 and commonly known as Pouty Hans or Gretchen, and originally made by the Firm of Simon & Halbig for Kämmer and Reinhardt, introduced in 1910.

Poured in Magnolia White porcelain and with many layers of China paint meticulously applied and firings in between each layer. The skin tone is medium with very rosy cheeks as is characteristic of the German dolls.

Very Fine painting done in 2008 though the doll was not dressed until May of 2025 and presented now for the first time.

Painted eyes

She wears a beautiful necklace made with genuine Swarovski crystal beads.

Finest New Zealand mohair wig with center part and ringlet curls in Antique blonde color. These wigs are handmade for Emily Hart dolls.

The body by Seeley’s is a slant leg German style body of the finest quality. ( this is old store stock, never presented before).

She is dressed in a ONE OF A KIND dress, and matching bonnet, made with gorgeous lightweight pure silk iridescent taffeta color pink/blue. Laces are genuine Antique featuring a front panel embellished with floral appliques made with silk ribbon embroidery. The dress features a silk sash that ties in a big bow at the back.The dress is fully self-lined.

She wears 100% cotton batiste undergarments trimmed in French laces, of bloomers, and full petticoat that buttons at the back.

Socks are hand knitted silk/rayon.

Shoes are the ultimate quality in genuine leather in German style made in Italy.

This doll stands 16 inches tall.
